Meyer v. State, 422 P.3d 1271 (2018)

The court found that an expert’s testimony was within the scope. She testified about strangulation effects and timing and gave a medical opinion that the victim likely had suffered a significant injury from strangulation. Despite the fact that there was no information on how long the victim was actually strangled (the defendant’s argument), the victim’s description of her symptoms supported the opinion.
