2016 National Advisory Board Meeting Report

This report, updated in August of 2018, is the product of the August 2016 National Advisory Board Meeting of the Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention in San Diego, California.  This document is an overview of the Training Institute, the history, it's goals, and the training that it offers.  The report also introduces the individual experts that make up the Advisory Board.  Some of the Advisory Board's objectives and accomplishments that are discussed include the creation of the medical recommendations for the strangled patient, development of legislative and legal strategies, as well as the review and improvement of training curriculum.  The National Advisory Meeting report also introduces new tools such as the Institute's resource library that houses resources for every discipline.
